2. Principles of Data Processing
We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide our website and services. Processing is based on:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — Consent (e.g. contact form)
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — Performance of a contract (e.g. order processing)
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — Legitimate interest (e.g. website operation)
3. Hosting & Servers
Our website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Each time the website is accessed, the following data is stored in server log files:
- Page accessed (URL)
- Date and time of access
- IP address (anonymized — last octet removed)
- Browser type and operating system
- Referrer URL (previous page)
This data is not combined with other data sources. Storage is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data processor: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
4. Contact Form & Leads
When you use our contact form, the following data is collected:
- Name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name (optional)
- Message (required)
This data is stored in our database and used to process your inquiry. If Google Workspace is connected, the data is additionally stored in a Google Sheet (see section 11).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by submitting the form).
Retention period: Your data will be deleted after your inquiry has been processed and any statutory retention periods have expired.
5. Appointment Booking (Google Calendar)
Through our website, you can book a free initial consultation. Your name, email address and optionally a message are collected. The appointment is created in our Google Calendar.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
6. Email Communication
When you contact us by email or contact form, your information is processed to handle your inquiry. Emails are sent via:
- Google Workspace (Gmail) — for kontakt@imlando.com
- SMTP server according to our configuration
After receiving your inquiry, you will receive an automatic confirmation email.
7. Google Fonts
This website loads fonts (Inter) from the Google Fonts service by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When loading, your IP address and technical browser data are transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a uniform presentation).

8. Newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and optionally your name are stored. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email (Double Opt-In) — the subscription is only activated after confirmation.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting kontakt@imlando.com.
9. Website Analytics & Tracking
We use our own, self-hosted tracking system. No data is sent to third-party providers (Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.).
The following data is collected:
- Page visited (URL path)
- IP address (anonymized — last octet replaced with 0)
- Browser type (User Agent)
- Referrer (where you came from)
- Language setting
- Time of visit
No cookies are set for tracking. There is no cross-site tracking. All data remains on our own server in Germany.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website optimization).
10. Cookies
Our website uses no marketing or tracking cookies.
Technically necessary cookies may be set for:
- Session management in the admin area (JWT token, httponly)
These cookies are required for website operation and cannot be disabled.
11. Google Workspace Integration
We use Google Workspace for internal communication and data management:
- Google Sheets: Lead data from the contact form is stored in a protected Google Sheet.
- Google Calendar: Booked appointments are created in our calendar.
- Gmail: Emails are sent via Google servers.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google processes data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is in place with Google.

You have the right at any time to:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — What data we have stored about you
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — Correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — Deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
